Website, better than ever...
Ok, I spent many long hours, working into the night on my little website that could. It's not perfect, but I'm very proud of how far it has come. if you all get some free time and want to check it out, please get back to me with any broken links, typos, spelling errors, or general advice.
I know the front page needs some more content and images, but it's up! for right now, the email is not work :(

I had a look! I thought it looked lovely! :D It's more than I could ever do. Good luck with fixing everything!

I noticed a few pictures in photography wouldn't load for me, only one showed an X--but my connection's being SHIT.

yes, i noticed the photos were a bit slow on mark's computer. it's a bit of a fine lime between large enough that they look good and small enough that the load.

glad you thought it was lovely :) it was more than i thought i could do, but with a lot of trial and error, it's mostly there.

I know you said you have a lot to put up. I just looked for a bit, seeing as it's so late, but I found it very professionally done. It looked clean cut. Perhaps the type face (I liked it myself) could be a little larger to prevent eye strain? Just an idea! I liked the way you worded things on there. Keep up the good work! I look forward to checking in on it. And hey, it's an easy name to remember! :D

oh and even before reading your statement I was thinking Paula Rego and Jenny Saville, and the series of portraits of Lee Bowery by horribly famous bloke whose name momentarily escapes me and I'm too lazy to get up and look in the book as busy eating crumpets and typing one-handed

Hey Jess,

The only errors I saw offhand consisted of the word is. You need one in the second sentence of your homepage. And you have an unneeded one in the second sentence of your artists statement.

It was a very good site. I really liked the picture of Nana. You caught her very well.

Oh and I could not use the email link on your site. I have the same problem with other sites occassionally. It happens when I try to use the email for my brother Mark at his job at BYU. It is something to do with outlook express. It always asks a series of questions like what do you want your name to be and what is your email address but then it asks what my mail server is or something like that and I never know.

Luckily I know more than one way to contact you.

Miss you much. Only slightly blue so far. Holding my breath till the 19th. I am off to work on my trailer.

Love you
Dad

looks great... damn good for someone who supposedly doesn't know what she's doing. :p

your artist's statement was incredibly well-written and quite powerful. I was definitely reminded of Ann Hamilton. I wish I could get you to talk to my fibers classmates sometime... your exploration of the corset is deeply profound and thought-provoking.

the only mistake I saw was a misspelling of feminism on your links page...

"The Problem of Femainism in Female Art"

other than that, it's damn fantastic. excellent work. :)
